Universal PLM Adapter
The Universal PLM Adapter is an integration platform designed to integrate multiple PLM and CAD applications with various ERP solutions that run on Microsoft SQL Server, including Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision). The product allows users of virtually any PLM or CAD solution that can publish data in an XML format to update their ERP solution with part, bill of material, change order, drawing, and manufacturer part information.
The Universal PLM Adapter ensures that your ERP solution has accurate and timely data with which to operate, which is key in minimizing inventory shortages and manufacturing errors. And all while eliminating duplicate data entry. XML files are published by your PLM solution and “delivered” to the Universal PLM Adapter.
The Universal PLM Adapter is extremely flexible and extensible, making it the perfect integration solution for any environment. The heart of our application is the adapter “profile”, which provides all of the configuration information needed by our application to make sure the Universal PLM Adapter creates and updates information EXACTLY the way you want it. The Adapter can be configured to run on-demand, continuously, or can be scheduled to run at specific times. The Adapter can be configured and ready to use in minutes.

Legacy PLM Adapter
Our legacy PLM Adapter product is being phased out in favor of our next generation Universal PLM Adapter and is no longer for sale.
The PLM Adapter provides integration between Great Plains and the Agile or Arena Solutions PLM products. The PLM Adapter updates the Great Plains database with new and changed items, bills of material, ECOs and manufacturer parts with data provided by the PLM solution. Both the Agile Adapter and the Arena Adapter are written in Dexterity and are highly configurable to fit almost any environment out of the box.
